Problem
Some Samples or Releases from Sounds.com are missing from the KOMPLETE KONTROL and/or MASCHINE 2 Browser or Projects, after syncing my Sounds.com Account with my NI Apps (i.e. KOMPLETE KONTROL & MASCHINE 2).
Background
Sounds is powered by partner content, and our suppliers may periodically choose to remove select releases (or individual samples) from the Sounds.com catalog.
In the event of a take-down of a Release (or some samples) that you had previously downloaded from Sounds.com, your KOMPLETE KONTROL / MASCHINE 2 synchronized downloads may be affected;
If you have synchronized your account after a take-down, those Releases (or Samples) which were taken down from the Sounds.com platform will no longer be accessible by the KOMPLETE KONTROL or MASCHINE 2 software on your computer.
Solution
As a subscriber to our platform, you can still access an archive of these samples through your Sounds.com download history.
To download your missing content, log into the following page at the Sounds website: https://sounds.com/account
Scroll down to the section of the Account Page that is labelled: Settings
Here you will find the tab labelled: Download Missing Content
Simply click this button to download all missing files from your account. This will package your download archive as a .zip file.
We recommend that users retain a backup copy of the zipped archive.
Note: In some cases, we have found that certain operating systems may not be able to natively support unarchiving zip files larger than 4GB. In the case that your OS cannot support the zip file, we recommend the use of one of the following unarchive tools:
